Ethereum.tel is an independent informational website providing Ethereum market data, network information, research, charts, and links to third-party resources. It is not operated by or affiliated with the Ethereum Foundation or ethereum.org.
Information Ethereum.tel does not request
Public browsing does not require an account, identity verification, KYC, a wallet connection, private keys, seed phrases, bank information, or payment-card information. Ethereum.tel does not custody assets or execute transactions.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, Ethereum.tel and its hosting/security systems process technical request data needed to deliver and protect the service. This may include:
- IP address, request date and time, requested URL, HTTP method and status;
- browser or user-agent information, referring URL, and basic device/network information;
- security events such as blocked login attempts, bot activity, malformed requests, and attempted access to protected files;
- outbound-link activity, including the destination URL and, where available, the referring page.
WordPress security logs are normally kept for a short operational period; the currently configured security log covers approximately seven days. External-link records may persist for a longer administrative period. Hosting-provider access and error logs are controlled by the hosting environment and may have separate retention periods.
Cookies, local storage, and third-party services
Ethereum.tel does not set an account cookie for ordinary anonymous browsing. Site features may load resources or data from third parties, including cryptocurrency market-data providers, charting libraries, fonts, official Ethereum resources, social platforms, block explorers, and trading or DEX destinations. Those services may receive an IP address, browser information, and the referring page and operate under their own privacy policies.
Following an outbound link leaves Ethereum.tel. Ethereum.tel does not control the destination site’s cookies, wallet interactions, accounts, transactions, or data practices.
How technical data is used
- to deliver pages, feeds, APIs, charts, and market-data features;
- to prevent abuse, investigate errors, and protect the website;
- to understand whether site features and external links function correctly;
- to comply with applicable legal obligations.
WordPress administration and AI features
Administrator accounts and authenticated administrative sessions are maintained to operate the website. Public visitors are not registered automatically. If an authenticated AI-assistant or messaging feature is enabled in the future, information submitted to that feature may be processed by the configured AI provider and will require an additional feature-specific disclosure.
Disclosure of information
Technical data may be processed by the hosting provider, security and performance services, market-data providers, and other vendors required to operate a requested feature. Ethereum.tel does not sell personal information. Information may be disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect the site, its users, or others.
Data security and retention
Reasonable technical measures are used to restrict administrative access and protect stored data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Data is retained only for operational, security, legal, or troubleshooting needs and should be deleted or aggregated when no longer required.
